The Prime Group began its operation in the year 1986 with Prime Chemfert Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. later named as PCI Limited with a clear focus to empower the priority sector with the latest technological advancements. One of our flagship companies, Prime Electric Ltd. is in the process of setting up a modern and state-of-the-art factory for EHV power transformer up to 1000 MVA / 500 KV with major focus on exports. The project is being set-up in joint venture with a European business house in 100 acres area in Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Naidupet, district Nellore in the Southern State of Andhra Pradesh. The location of this project is just 45 Km. from a large sea port called Krishnapattnam and in close proximity to the Ennore and Chennai Ports. Production from the proposed facility is scheduled to be rolled out by middle of 2010.
